August Jane grew out of a season where I was craving creativity and something that felt meaningful of my own.

I first taught myself embroidery as a former elementary school teacher looking to save a little money on monograms, but before long, it turned into so much more. What started as a small hobby has grown into three embroidery machines, hundreds of customers, and a business that brings me so much joy. During the postpartum season, embroidery became my creative outlet and a way to continue doing what I loved most about teaching: designing, creating, and making something that brightens someone’s day.

Quality and connection are at the heart of everything I do. I want each piece to feel thoughtful, personal, and like it was made just for you - even if you’re not quite sure how to explain what you’re envisioning. Being able to build this business while staying home with my daughter during these early years is something I’m endlessly grateful for 🤍

The name August Jane is deeply personal. August is both of our birth month, and Jane is my daughter's middle name, shared with my sister who she’s named after. It felt like the perfect way to tie together family, meaning, and the heart behind this brand.
